Airports

Don’t be concerned if your flight is early or late, because we make it our responsibility to keep track of its progress. If you flight is early, we will make every effort to arrive on time, and if it’s late, we’ll be there for you whenever it lands.

For cancelled or changed flights:
Call us and we will make adjustments. If these changes are within 24 hours of the scheduled service, a $15 transfer fee may apply.

Baltimore-Washington International Airport (BWI) [+/-]

Baggage Claim Arrivals
A FreedomCar representative will meet you inside the terminal next to your baggage claim carousel. Please look for our representative carrying a sign with your last name on it. If you don't see us, use any phone to call our office immediately at 410.321.5600 or 800.666.3121. We will assist you with your luggage to our car or we can bring the car around if you prefer.

"Upper Level Call-In" Arrivals
If you’re traveling without checked luggage you can call us when you deplane, and we’ll meet you on the upper (departures) level of the airport outside of your airline. Our drive-time to the terminal is three to five minutes.

International Arrivals
All international arrivals will be met inside the airport at the International Arrivals waiting room. Look for your driver holding a sign with your name on it.

Washington Dulles International Airport [+/-]

Domestic Arrivals/ Baggage Claim
Fifteen minutes after your plane arrives, a FreedomCar representative will meet you in the Main Terminal at the assigned baggage claim carousel, carrying a sign with your last name on it. If you don't see your FreedomCar representative, please call our office immediately at 410.321.5600 or 800.666.3121. Once we’ve met we will assist you with your luggage to our car.

International Arrivals
A FreedomCar representative will arrive at the airport thirty minutes after your plane arrives, allowing you time to clear customs, which usually takes between 45 minutes to an hour or more. But don't be alarmed if you are delayed, we will be there waiting for you. When you emerge from customs, we ask you to walk into the International Arrivals waiting room and look for our driver standing behind the barriers, holding a sign with your last name on it. If you don't see your FreedomCar representative, please call our office immediately at 410.321.5600 or 800.666.3121. Once we’ve met we will assist you with your luggage to our car.

Washington National Airport [+/-]

Baggage Claim Arrivals
Fifteen minutes after your plane arrives, a FreedomCar representative will meet you in the Main Terminal at the assigned baggage claim carousel, carrying a sign with your last name on it. If you don't see your FreedomCar representative, please call our office immediately at 410.321.5600 or 800.666.3121. Once we’ve met we will assist you with your luggage to our car, which will be parked in the garage.

Please note: Parking at National is unpredictable and can at times be impossible, particularly for over-height vehicles such as our vans. If you do not see your driver at your luggage claim carousel, it is almost assuredly because he/she cannot park and is circling the airport waiting for you to call. Please call us immediately at 410.321.5600 or 800.666.3121 and we will tell you exactly where your driver is and how to meet him.

Philadelphia, Newark, and JFK [+/-]

FreedomCar provides transportation to and from Philadelphia, Newark and JFK Airports. If you would like information about transportation to any of these locations, please use our Online Request Form or you may call our office at 410.321.5600 or 800.666.3121.

 

If you can’t find your driver:
Please, call us. We don’t want you waiting and searching through the airport in an attempt to find your driver. Keep our numbers with you or programmed into your phone, 410.321.5600 or 800.666.3121. We will connect you with your driver immediately.

When extra charges apply:
Our quoted fees for service don't change often, but with respect to airport arrivals there are a number of circumstances beyond our control and yours, which can affect the fee, including:

  • Flight delays lasting longer than 10:30 p.m. will incur a $7.50/half hour surcharge to cover after hours payments to your driver.
  • Same-day changes in your arriving flight, such as missing your flight or being assigned to a different flight at a different time, generally result in a transfer fee of $15.
  • Wait time in luggage claim is generally NOT chargeable. However, if luggage is lost or damaged and resultant claim times go beyond 45 minutes after the arrival of your flight, we may add a modest charge similar to our transfer fee or less.
  • Parking fees are not included in your rate because we do not always incur them. If we incur parking costs, that will be added to your quoted fee.
